What to bring
Yoga mat and any additional props you like (limited mats available to borrow)
Wear comfortable, loose, or stretchy clothing that you can move in freely
Water in a closed water bottle
If you are attending a dance or fitness class, you may bring appropriate indoor-only shoes to wear in the studio. A yoga mat is not usually needed for these classes.
The studio is equipped with blocks, bolsters, blankets, straps, eye pillows, and tune-up balls.
Arrival
Please aim to arrive a few minutes early, especially if it is your first time at the studio. The entrance is towards the south side of the building. The doors will unlock about 15 minutes before each class.
You may park in the gravel parking lot beside the studio. Bicycles may be locked to the railing.
If it is your first time to the studio, please introduce yourself to the teacher and they will give you a short tour.
Please remove your shoes before entering the studio. Barefoot is often best for yoga but you may choose to wear socks. Some classes may allow shoes - please ensure your shoes are indoor-only and do not leave marks.
Personal belongings may be left in the foyer or brought into the studio if space allows, but please keep them to the side to avoid trip hazards.
Please turn off or silence your phone during all classes.
Retrieve props and set up your space as indicated by the teacher. Please return your props as you found them at the end of class.
Accessibility
The studio itself is accessible with a ramp. The washroom is wide enough for a wheelchair and has grabrails.
Please reach out to discuss your individual needs for a yoga class. We will try our best to accommodate everyone and find a class that's right for you.
