Gentle Yoga & Somatics Series
with Melinda
This is an event series

Join Melinda for this gentle yoga class that combines a slower-paced yoga practice with somatic movement.

Each class follows a similar flow: we begin reclined or seated for a centering meditation, warm up with gentle movements, then move into standing sequences that build mobility, balance, and strength. We finish seated or reclined with somatic work and end in Savasana. Options and variations are offered throughout so everyone can practice in a way that feels accessible and comfortable.

Somatics uses slow, intentional movements to release tension and retrain the brain. By focusing on the sensations of activating and then relaxing muscles, we become more aware of how the body moves and unwinds. This mindful slowing down helps the brain remember how to release chronic tension, creating deeper relaxation throughout the body and mind.

All abilities welcome, but please reach out to the teacher beforehand to discuss any limitations or if you aren't sure if this class is for you.

$75 or 5 package credits for 5-week series.
